Rob Evan starred in the original Broadway cast of Jekyll & Hyde, playing the title role for three years and over 600 performances. TED LOUIS LEVY began his professional training in Chicago with Mr. Finis Henderson II, Master Tap Dancer and former manager of Sammy Davis Jr. Mr. Henderson encouraged Ted to pursue a professional career in the performing arts, which began at The Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago. Mr. Levy made his Broadway debut in the smash hit Black & Blue. He collaborated with George C. Wolfe and Gregory Hines on the Choreography of Jelly's Last Jam, for which he received a Tony Nomination, Drama Desk Awards Nomination, and the 1993 Outer Critics Circle Award. Ted received an Emmy Award for his television debut performance in the PBS Special Precious Memories. His film debut was in Spike Lee's Malcolm X. His production of Ted Levy and Friends, directed by Gregory Hines, celebrated Ted as one of America's premier tap dance artists. Influenced by Mr. Hines, Ted acquired his directorial debut as director of Savion Glover's, Dancing Under The Stars at the New York Shakespeare Festival's Delacorte Theater. He also assisted in the choreography of Broadway's Tony Award winning hit Bring In 'Da Noise! Bring In 'Da Funk! Ted appeared in the movie Bojangles with Gregory Hines. Patti Russo is best known to her fans as the female lead vocalist for Meat Loaf, performing with him for over 13 years. She has numerous album credits including Meat Loaf, Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s and Bryan Ferry. Patti also performed lead vocals with Queen at the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Queensday Festival in Amsterdam. Fans also may recognize Patti’s sound from the TSO’s rock opera recording Beethoven’s Last Night, and another TSO recording which was featured in Jim Carey’s motion picture How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Patti was seen performing the lead role of Esmeralda in the West End production of Notre Dame de Paris and as Killer Queen in the Vegas production of We Will Rock You. DANNY ZOLLI is best known for his monumental number of performances as Jesus, Judas, and Annas in more than 18 productions of Jesus Christ Superstar throughout the world. NEIL BERG is the composer/lyricist of the hit Off-Broadway musical The Prince and the Pauper, which ran for two years at The Lamb’s Theatre Company in New York City. The New York Times raved, “. . . (Berg’s) music soars on Angel’s wings.” The original cast CD is released internationally on JAY Records, with sheet music published by Hal Leonard, and licensing by Samuel French, Inc. Neil is the composer for the Broadway-bound musical Grumpy Old Men, based on the movie starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau. In January 2008, Berg’s The Twelve, billed as a theatrical concert event, premiered atThe China Club, NYC.His musical Tim and Scrooge was voted “one of the best musicals” of the inaugural NYMF festival in NYC. It opened at The Queens Theater in the Park in December of 2006 and has toured several US cities. The Man Who Would Be King also played at the inaugural NYMF festival in NYC. ROGER COHEN (Drums) has performed with Martin Short, Rita Moreno, Sir Cliff Richard, Kathie Lee Gifford, Dom DeLuise, Christie Brinkley, Rupert Holmes, Lorraine Bracco and many others. Roger has also worked with soap opera stars Martha Byrne and Michael Parks (As the World Turns), and progressive rock superstars James LaBrie and Jordan Rudess of the prog metal band Dream Theater. He has also performed on national television during the US Open. According to Modern Drummer Magazine, “Roger’s playing reveals an admirable combination of power, musical creativity, and restraint.” During a recent tour of Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway, the Barbados Advocate noted, “It would be unforgivable to end this review without mentioning the disciplined drumming skills of Roger Cohen, whose range and rhythm not only bring out the best in vocals, but provide a richly satisfying percussion component.” Danny Gottleib, the drummer with the original Pat Metheny Group, praised Cohen’s work, “. . . ALAN GREENE (Bass) has performed with many Broadway singers over the years. His Broadway credits include Jersey Boys, and he was in the Off-Broadway productions of Chess and The Joys of Sex. Alan has performed with Martin Short, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Rupert Holmes. Recently, his song “I’m So Busy” was used by the Disney Channel’s Knock First. His original band, The Alice Project, has had songs on NBC’s Who Wants to Marry My Dad? and One Life to Live. Alan is a music educator in the Teaneck, NJ, public school system.
GREG LYKINS (Guitar) studied with Grammy nominee Doc Powell (Wilson Pickett, Luther Vandross, Anita Baker) before attending Berklee College of Music. He played with MTV Basement Tapes winners West Of Eden and toured 14 countries supporting Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, Journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hootie and the Blowfish, S.T.P., Nickelback, Funkadelic, and Broadway greats Rita Moreno, Donna McKechnie, and Cady Huffman. He has appeared in music videos for Sony Music and on CBS This Morning for Martin Guitars. He is the lead guitarist for Stone Caravan, M.K.B. and Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway. Greg acts as composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist on his new release, The Liberals. He has a full roster of students and is a well-versed guitar technician. DANIEL R. WALKER (Keyboards) has served as music director and associate music director for numerous regional productions in and around the New York area for the past 25 years. He also performs as a solo entertainer at private functions throughout the US. Dan is known for his interpretations of Billy Joel and Elton John standards. PAUL HILL moved to Nashville in 1998 to pursue a professional music career. Since then, he has recorded several original and cover songs. In 2004, his song “Pack Up Your Memories” was voted the Make It or Break It song by Tennessee’s radio listeners. Paul performs over 60 shows a year, auditions relentlessly, and works full time. From April through October, you can find Paul performing his renditions of new and classic country, patriotic, rock, and original songs twice a week at Nashville’s Two River Campground. In 2005, 2006, and 2007, he was invited to represent Camping World at the CMA Music Festival. He has also made appearances at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, Nashville Palace, Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, and The Barbados Cup Festival 2007.
